Meet Dr. Krystyna Zietkiewicz, D.D.S.
At Cherry Tree Dental Care we firmly believe that dental care should be a positive experience, free from stress and anxiety. Dr. Krystyna, a graduate of New York University Dental School, studied dentistry for 6 years at the Academy of Medicine in Poznan, Poland. She then practiced dentistry in Poland for the next two years.
Dr. Krystyna came to the United States in 1997 and continued her studies at New York University receiving the Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2002.At commencement she also received the International Congress of Oral Implantologist Award.
She has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses and workshops.
She is married to Dr. Ron Salafia, a Fairfield University Professor and they have teenage twin boys, Jan and Sean. Dr. Krystyna loves reading, enjoys long walks with her husband and young new addition to her family, golden-doodle puppy Muffin. Cooking and gardening always helps her to relax and be creative, usually with lots of help from the boys .
